WELCOME to my website!  Enjoy the resource links above.   2022 was a most interesting year politically and emotionally for the country in this supposedly 'post-COVID' era.  We continue to double down on our polarization --  continually barraging us with ever-morphing political theories and the unscrupulous and frauds rampant on the internet.  As far as for taxes, we no longer have the stimulous payment, but we now have lingering ERC (employee tax retention) confusion, purported student loan forgiveness, lower monthly child tax credit payments, tax rates, increasing complexity in the tax code and now PTET (passthrough entity tax) ramifications for many.  That's just the tip of the word salad topics out there.  Meanwhile, we cannot avoid constant retesting, disruptive schooling for our children and college students -- and increasing loneliness, remoteness and unprecedented paradigm shifts in just about every aspect of our lives.  Inflation now seriously erodes our purchasing power across the board -- in fuel, food & serious supply chain repercussions -- injecting confusion, anger, unknown availability dates, and triggering a general malaise, overlaid by deep political divides and the inability of Congress to do its job.  And yet!  The resilient spirit of many helps keep hope burning and accentuate the positives of the underlying goodness of humanity! We need to note the silver linings and as citizens take the initiative to contribute more determined efforts to make this world and America a better place to live!

Identity theft! ... Continues to plague our economy. It is here to stay as the daily news is rife with new cases of private and Federal website hackings. We must turn the tide and reverse the recent trends, that are distressingly becoming the new standard which make it virtually and overwhelmingly complex to intelligently assess and plan our personal and business circumstances -- to effectively use those tax law changes to our benefit. In other words, proactively acting instead of scrambling just to inadequately react! What a difference it would make in our lives!

For the baby-boomer 1946-1964 birth years, 10,000/day average are turning 65 and considering retiring (over 70 million). Licensed in Utah, I can also help you with Medicare insurance and Supplements (Medigap), annual Part D Rx Plans and Medicare Advantage programs; and pre-medicare 'bridge plans;' aging-in when you are ready to go on Medicare ... or switching from a private, individual or group plan(s) into Medicare.

When is the optimum time for me to start taking Social Security?  Should I wait ... can I still 'file and suspend' and collect on my spouse's Social Security benefits?  I can assist you with answering your questions and the recent changes.  The permutations are still almost endless and I can help you focus on obtaining a beneficial answer for your unique tax situation.  Don't pass up the opportunity to sit down together today and review your payment history and assess your Social Security options ... and empower you to make better timely choices regarding your retirement years.  I can provide great insights to the interplay of taxable Social Security, RMD's (Required Minimum Distributions) and Qualified Distribution income ... and help you to plan ahead to avoid needless higher tax brackets on your retirement portfolio nestegg.

Providing guidance to your business on a wide-variety of concerns helps me bring value-added services to your daily operations ... in addition to the ramifications of the ever-changing tax code!

It is prime time to make an appointment and sit down for tax planning!  Please use your Tax Organizer Package to effectively prepare for your efficient visit with me this year -- there is much to discuss!  E-filing has started for 2023 (2022 taxes).   Be patient with Federally-imposed inconvenient preparer-mandated verifying procedures -- they are now the norm. Taxes are due April 18th. Now that we are into the Summer, it is a prime time to call and do some extending planning and evaluating your options.  Drop me your email address for my monthly newsletter (or signup herein). Hear from you soon!       Jim
